Second pair, I love these boots for my job I install metal roofing and the work great the first pair lasted 10 months through hot Midwestern summer and cold winter. Pretty comfy but they do take a week to break in and need depending on your use for them the original insole lasted me 4 months before replacing.

First, I PAYED FOR THESE TIMBERLAND BOOTS.(Check my update below!)
I waited until I had used these boots for a few months before reviewing them in order to give an honest opinion.
I wear them 5 to 6 days a week, from summer until now when we just had the first snowfall of the season, anywhere from 8 to 18 hours a day working on concrete floors, and in and out of trucks. Yes, I'm on my feet all day.
My feet and legs used to get sore and tired with my last pair, but since using these timberlands I can work longer without getting fatigued. My only complaints are the lack of the slip resistant sole, and the quick lace-up eye hooks at the top of the boot. If it had these two changes made, it would be the perfect workboot.
I will leave you with a tip: I pair these with the Dr. Scholls P.R.O Heavy Duty Support insoles, designed for men over 200 lbs. They provide extra support.
Together they are the footwear I recommend to everyone.

Posted a picture of the soles breaking apart on both boots, similar to other reviwers here on amazon. Very dissapointed. Will find another brand to use, you should too

Have been buying these boots for years. Great fit good for construction sites.

Fit was a bit smaller than I'm used to but Timberland makes a quality boot. Very satisfied.

I look like a miner when I wear them. They're huge. A lot bigger and taller than I expected but that's perfect since they're waterproof. I did a long hike with them and they were a little too tall and stiff for my legs, but I stepped in an area of mud up to my ankles and dipped my foot in a stream to wash off. No water seeped through at all. Totally dry after the hike. Great boot, I just wouldn't walk 2 miles up and down a mountain with them again.

This was the third pair of these I have ordered. The first two were perfect and among the best shoes I have owned,. The recent pair was a poor fit and absolutely killed my feet - incredibly uncomfortable! On examination, the production of the most recent pair was in Vietnam where the first two were produced in China. When you reorder a product on Amazon.com, it should be the same as what you previously order -- not just look the same. If the production has changed, the customer should be informed. Different factories have different production standards. NOT COOL!!!! Second time I have reordered products from Amazon and found later production to be cheapened quality. ASICS are some of the best shoes I have owned. I hope they are not moving to cheaper production and an inferior product. Sad.
